Endoscopic discectomy for Lumbar disc herniation This 34 year old woman from noida presented to us with sciatica like pain going from back into buttocks and legs for last 3 months. She was not able to stand and walk for more than 5 minutes. Her MRI showed L5 S1 disc herniation with S1 nerve root compression. she had tried medication and physiotherapy with no releif. So she underwent Interlaminar endoscopic discectomy by Dr Pramod Saini at jaypee Hospital, Noida. The surgery was done with 1 cm cut and patient was discharged next day. She had significant pain releif post surgery and she was back to her normal activities in a month.
