Minimally invasive spine surgery ( MISS fracture fixation) MISS has its own advantages over open surgery like small incision & scar, minimal blood loss, early rehabilitation and recovery. However all spine cases are not candidates for Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery. 27 year female had fall from bike. She presented to us with Severe Back Pain with normal power in both legs. Her MRI showed L1 Vertebra Burst Fracture with local Kyphosis with Posterior ligamentous injury (PLC). Due to PLC injury the fracture pattern was unstable. pt underwent fracture fixation with pedicle screws and rods. She was mobilised with brace 2 days after surgery with Taylor brace and discharged.
