Plasmacytoma of spine- Decompression fixation and Biopsy This 68 year old male presented to us with back pain and weakness in legs for last 6 months. He also complained of Loss of weight and loss of appetite. His MRI showed destuctive lesion in L1 vertebra with severe spinal cord compression. He underwent laminectomy fixation and biopsy. His pain and weakness impoved significantly after surgery and was discharged after 3 dyas. His biopsy report came to be Plasmacytoma and he was reffered to Oncology department for further treatment.
