Tuberculosis of Spine A 9 year old girl presented to us with back pain with progressive deformity of back. She had a bony prominence protruding out of her back with leg pain. Her MRI and Xray showed Complete collapse of L4 vertebrae with ith local lumbar kyphosis and Spinal cord compression. She had been on TB medicationon for last two months without any releif. She underwent Posterior decompression fixation and deformity correction with osteotomy and cage placement in place of L4 vertebrae. Pus was drained and sent for culture senstivity. She was mobilised next day with brace. Her pain improved Significantly. Test showed that she had MDR tuberculosis. She has been started on second line Antitubercular drug. Our plan is to remove L2 and s1 Screws and shorten the construct once there is anterior fusion.
